The ideal candidate must have excellent phone etiquette, be very detail oriented, a team player and be able to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities will include:
Medical A/R Specialist with a minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience Claims status Work claim denials Experience with the appeals process for Commercial, Medicare, Auto and Work Comp In and Out of Network insurances Medicare Experience in Pain Management, Orthopedics, and Neuro/Spine preferred.
Detail-oriented Problem solver Able to work in a fast-paced environment Verifying commercial insurance- in and out of network, Auto, and Work Comp Initiate and Follow-up on authorizations Contact attorneys for Letters of Protection Answering phones Scanning Other duties as requested Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance and Flexible Spending Paid Time Off (PTO) and Personal Leave Employee Discounts including Tickets, Retail, Hotels, fitness etc.
