Reporting to the Executive Director, Supply Chain & Business Services, the Process Engineer is expected to be well-versed with the concepts, principles, and theories behind continuous process improvement and total quality management.
The Process Engineer must be able to prioritize and manage multiple competing projects, deadlines, and relationships, while interacting effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels, including senior executives, to affect change within the organization.
The Process Engineer should be able to transfer perceptions of problems into viable solutions and actionable items, utilizing diplomacy and flexibility in response to changing concerns, while maintaining oversight of cost, schedule, and quality to ensure that critical milestones and deliverables are completed in a timely manner.
The Process Engineer will provide project management and analytic support to high priority cost and effectiveness initiatives throughout the supply chain and business services teams.
The Process Engineer will also serve as an internal consultant in the areas of performance monitoring and advanced statistical analysis.
The Process Engineer may work independently and within multidisciplinary teams toward the execution and implementation of projects directed at improving operational efficiencies.
The value you'll bring to the team:
Develop the analytic and measurement strategy for all projects undertaken including development of key metrics, identification of data sources and collection of baseline data.
Identify and document current processes, research best practices, conduct volume and utilization analysis, develop key performance indicators and future state recommendations, and create standard work documents to facilitate sustainability.
Utilize Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Visual Workplace, and other tools to identify gaps in quality delivery, labor efficiency, and throughput.
Support executive committees by facilitating preparation of reports and providing statistical ad hoc information.
Perform problem solving activities and root cause analysis using statistical tools.
Conduct time studies/capacity analysis.
Work with cross functional teams as required to validate as-is processes; identify and eliminate inefficiencies; and reduce costs through process analysis.
Communicate regularly with stakeholders about progress toward goal achievement, critical factors, and obstacles.
Employ a variety of rigorous improvement methods and tools, such as Lean, PDCA, RCA, Six Sigma, etc.
Work independently leading projects of moderate to high impact or complexity.

QualificationsThe expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering with two or more years of relevant experience Proven experience leading process improvement projects, preferably in a complex organizational environment Solid understanding and application of data collection/analysis tools & methodologies Well-versed in process mapping, root cause analysis, statistical controls Experienced practitioner of quality & process improvement methodologies such as lean six sigma Excellent analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills Familiar with project management and change management concepts and methodologies EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
Master's degree with two or more years of relevant experience in Engineering, Healthcare, Business, or related field LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION PREFERRED:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
