Responsibilities:
In this role, you will manage the daily operations of a portfolio of rental properties, advertise vacant properties, and handle tenant relations.
The property manager's responsibilities include managing financial matters, coordinating maintenance work, enforcing leases, and preparing performance reports.
You will be responsible for proactively managing a portfolio of multifamily residential units.
You will perform the day-to-day operations including managing the financials and working with residents during their tenancy to ensure policy compliance while providing genuine customer service.
This includes but is not limited to the following tasks:
Maintaining occupancy levels by attracting new tenants through advertising, property viewings, and encouraging referrals.
Managing tenant acquisition process including interviewing tenants, confirming employment, and running credit checks.
Ensuring high tenant satisfaction and retention by addressing tenant complaints, inspecting units, timely communication; assisting with resident move-in/move-out needs and responding to requests in a professional and timely manner.
Contracting and supervising repairs and maintenance work.
Collecting rent, dealing with late payments, and handling operating expenses.
Maintaining records of income, expenses, signed leases, complaints, maintenance, etc.
Assisting with electronic record keeping by ensuring file management quality control and document storage.
Terminating leases and initiating eviction proceedings.
Coordinating with accounting department to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications:

years of Property Management experience.
Must possess a valid driver's license, an insurable driving record and access to their own motor vehicle.
Working knowledge of property management software programs and Microsoft Office Applications.
Customer service oriented; strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Motivation for sales Strong Negotiation Skills Familiarity with applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations High level of organization and attention to detail Salary Range:
