Summary:
We seek compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Caregivers/Companions/Homemakers.
As a Caregiver/Companionn or homemaker, you will provide essential support and assistance to seniors and individuals with special needs in their homes or nursing home settings.
Your role will involve providing companionship, assisting with daily activities, and ensuring the well-being and comfort of our clients.
Duties:
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients - Help with meal preparation and feeding - Administer medication reminders - Assist with light housekeeping duties - Accompany clients to appointments or social outings - Lift and transfer clients as needed - Provide care for individuals with autism, dementia, or other special needs - Offer respite care for family caregivers - Provide end-of-life support for clients in hospice care Requirements:
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required - Knowledge of nursing home or home care systems is a plus - Ability to lift and assist with mobility needs - Compassionate and patient demeanor - Excellent communication skills - Ability to work well independently or as part of a team - Flexibility in scheduling, including availability for evening, weekend, and overnight shifts
