User Interface Designer

Knetik Media is seeking creative and innovative designers to join our growing team of rockstars. You will play a leading role in designing and developing enterprise level web and mobile applications for major operators and broadcasters around the world. As a product based company, we primarily focus on the ongoing development and advancement of our internal platforms. You will be an integral part of a dynamic team utilizing agile development philosophies and focused on rapid speed-to-market.
Key Experience Required:
Ability to think about the user and provide user centered designs
Expert knowledge of the current design trends and techniques
A passion for consistency, color use, typography, and subtle details in design work
Experience collaborating with product managers and other engineers on projects
Ability to work on several projects simultaneously without deviating from deadlines
CSS Guru with key focus on specifications and compatibility such as CSS3 and HTML5
Knowledge of CSS limitation that affect designs and device support
Experience developing in Javascript including JQuery, Prototype, and JavaScript MVC
Ability to effortlessly convert complex PSD Assets into W3C Verifiable HTML
Experience creating interfaces from concept to completion going through by wireframing and developing the solution
Experience in both web, and mobile design
Ability to conceptualize the workflow of Web applications, usually starting from scratch and figuring it out through questions and analysis
Must be able to construct complete working prototypes that demonstrate the look, feel, and flow of an application
Knowledge of creating and maintaining user interface and UX specification documents for engineering
Deep understanding of user experience and ability to analyze and test usability
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
Ability to deliver results in tight timeframes
Minimum Three (3) years experience
Additional Skills Desired:
Experience in developing UI for Connected TV or embedded devices
Experience will touchscreen interfaces such as Kiosk or Hospitality solutions
Ability to develop in vector, and develop icons or 3D objects
